Based on his home-studio in Cheltenham, Kingsley creates a unique range of leather goods that include wallets, belts, cufflinks, bow ties and drinks coasters; he also takes on bespoke projects and commissions. The unassuming, easy to miss facade belies an elegant and welcoming dining room, with Helen and her small team running things out front as Jon cooks in the kitchen. Thirteen Degrees is probably the classiest club in Cheltenham, branding itself as “an independent boutique nightspot.” Think patterned wallpaper, chandeliers, mood lighting, and lots of nooks and crannies to retreat to. There are 5 bars across 3 floors within the grand Georgian building, so you should be able to get a drink with ease, and find a space that suits your mood. Sip on a cocktail, enjoy a bit of live music, and dance the night away. Oh, and if you head to Thirteen’s sister cocktail bar Six degrees of Separation beforehand – Six Degrees of Separation – you can get both priority and complimentary entry to the club when you flash your bar receipt.

21 Nightclub

The 21 Club is synonymous with the Cheltenham Festival; it’s actually the property of racehorse owner/trainer Richard Davies.  Every night during the March meeting, the club is filled with the who’s who of the race world – jockeys, trainers, owners and royalty alike – and they’ve hosted the Gold Cup winner’s party for the last 10 years(!). Hidden in the basements on Regent Street, it has a capacity of 300, and as a result, always ends up one in one out.  If you’re a smoker, there’s a great covered courtyard, which is heated and has its own bar. Perfect.

Opened in 1825, Pittville Park is the largest ornamental park in Cheltenham and features the magnificent Pump Room and lakes. It is a grade 2 listed park under the English Heritage register of historic parks and gardens.

It is divided in two by Evesham Road. One half is overlooked by the Grade 1 listed Pittville Pump Room & newly designed multi-million children's play area and the other half hosts a larger western park with woodland, BMX park and seasonal paddle boat hire.
